The thyroid gland has a huge role in the function of our bodies organs including brain, liver, heart, skin, and kidneys. The purpose for our thyroid is a vital hormone gland, that plays a big part of our metabolism growth and development of our bodies. It regulates many functions, constantly releasing steady amounts of hormones into our bloodstreams. In the early stages of thyroid cancer you might have very few symptoms if any symptoms at all, with that being said if you start to feel exhausted all the time weak rapid heart beats you probably want to make a doctor’s appointment.

What Are Early Symptoms Of Thyroid Cancer

Here is a list of early symptoms of thyroid cancer to look out for:

1. Swelling In Your neck

2. Pain In Front Of The Neck, and It Could Go Up To The Ears

3. Lump In Your Neck That Can Grow Quickly

4. Voice Changes Or Hoarseness That Won’t Go Away

5. Trouble Breathing Or You’re Experiencing Trouble Swallowing

6. A Major Symptom Is Very Exhausted

7. Tightness In Your Throat

8. Depression

Here are a few healthy tips: Drinking water can help the moisture of your skin, it helps regulate our bodies temperature, it helps with fatigue, loosens stool, and it can help with our brains memory function better. Drinking water with fluoride and chlorine in it can block iodine receptors in our thyroid. Drink pure filtered water if you can it’s very important for your body.

Low thyroid hormones may affect our bodies vitamin B-12 levels. Taking B-12 supplements could help repair some damage Hypothyroidism causes.

Does thyroid problems affect sleep? The answer to this question is yes it does. Hyperthyroidism is an overactive thyroid gland. Hyperthyroidism Disease overstimulates our bodies nervous system. It makes those with hyperthyroidism hard to fall asleep and it can cause night sweats, causing you to wake up throughout the night. Hypothyroidism Disease is an under active thyroid gland, it can cause our bodies to feel very sleepy and cold all the time.

All you need is a mirror and a cup of water
1. Stand in front of your mirror
2. Take a drink of water and tip your head back
3. Swallow the water and look in the mirror, watch from your collar bone up for women, and from your collar bone to your Adams Apple for men.
4. Look for any lumps or bumps
5. If you see or feel any lumps or bumps it’s time for you to make a doctor’s appointment to get your thyroid checked out

Is Thyroid Cancer Deadly

Thyroid cancer yes can be deadly, with that being said most of the time thyroid cancers can be cured. Follicular and Papillary thyroid cancer are the most common types and Papillary thyroid cancer is the most curable of all cancers. The survival rate ( 5 years ) is 98% based on many factors. It goes by stages of thyroid cancer, diseases, and specific types. You can develop thyroid cancer and thyroid diseases at any age in women or in men. It’s more common in women ages 20 to 30.
